Zooomachine

At the Canada Science and Technology Museum, a whole section is dedicated to kids. Experimentation and discovery are emphasized.

In this zone you can find the ZOOOMachine, a structure equipped with three bicycles, all connected to a giant screen on which 15 scenes totally different succeed each other, with animations changing according to the speed every bicycle is going at. Kids are therefore inclined to pedal as fast as possible in order to fill the screen with the color corresponding to their bicycle, to win a race or to trigger varied animations.  

Each scene lasts around 60 seconds and goes along original and unique music. Game mechanics were necessary to develop in order to adapt to each of their specific traits. 

This project was developed in WebGL to create a fluid, dynamic and generated experience in real time. 

Once more, web-based technologies were used in a unique way!
